This morning during my raid of the Internet I kept seeing ppl say "R.I.P D J AM". I was confused because I knew I recognized the name from somewhere. Then it hit me...he was the guy who survived the plane crash with drummer Travis Barker last September. So I Googled his name and sure enough he is dead. Adam Goldstien, aka D J AM was found dead in his NY apartment. Gossip sites are speculating that it was an overdose, but nothing has been confirmed. Regardless of what was the cause of his death, it is truly tragic...he was only 36 years old. I am so tired of saying R.I.P......

I did not know Steve Thomas personally, but a lot of my friends did. They speak nothing but good things about this young man who only wanted to be a rapper. He left behind wonderful memories with those that knew him. He was taken away at the tender age of 16 in a New Orleans club for no reason. My eyes continued to swell up with tears, I began to realize my worst fears, that the man I held so dear, didn't give a shit about me.

A Florida man was arrested last week for calling 911 repeatedly, seeking a police escort to the residence of rapper Lil Wayne.

Michael Kruse, 20, charged with making false emergency calls by the St. John’s County Sheriff’s Office.

According to thesmokinggun.com, Kruse called 911 on his cell phone, from his Ford Taurus repeatedly, asking for a police escort -by -helicopter - to take him to Miami so he could meet with Lil Wayne.

An arriving officer probed Kruse, who admitted to calling 911 the previous day as well.

In that incident, Kruse told 911 operators that he might need medical attention because he was under the influence of an unknown substance.

When the arriving officer attempted to help, Kruse refused medical attention.

The United States’ 911 system launched in 1968 and handles over 240 million calls annually, with 99% of the country covered with the service.

Officials are looking to crack down on abuse of the 911 system. In some cities, up to 80% of the calls placed to 911 are non-emergency.

In March, a woman was arrested for calling 911 three times, to complain that McDonalds was out of Chicken McNuggets, after she had paid for a ten piece meal.

Last year, a San Francisco man was charged with calling 911 more than 27,000 times.

Bother were charged with misuse of 911 charge and fined as well.

R.I.P. FARRAH FAWCETT

Farrah Fawcett, the blonde-maned actress whose best-selling poster and "Charlie's Angels" stardom made her one of the most famous faces in the world, has died. She was 62. Fawcett, who checked into a Los Angeles, California, hospital in early April, had been battling anal cancer on and off for three years.

Ryan O'Neal, Fawcett's romantic partner since the mid-1980s, recently told People magazine that the sex symbol was declining.

"She stays in bed now. The doctors see that she is comfortable. Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment. The treatment has pretty much ended," he said in a story posted May 7.

Fawcett's cancer journey has been documented in a television special partly shot by the actress. Fawcett began shooting "Farrah's Story," by taking a camera to a doctor's appointment. Eventually, the film expanded to include trips overseas in hopes of treating the cancer.

The documentary aired on NBC on May 15.
